The launch of the first implementation document to reduce the use of pesticides

On January 28 2015, Han changfu,the minister of Agriculture, chaired the executive meeting which deliberated and approved the “action plan for zero-growth of the use of pesticides”. The “action plan is the first file of concrete implementation about reducing the pesticides use.

  To gradually realize the fertilizer and pesticides zero growth, the ministry of agriculture follow the strategic guiding thought such as transforming the agriculture development model, controlling agricultural non-point source pollution and making cost reduction and efficiency improvement and keep advancing to guide farmer to use fertilizer by a scientific and rational way. In agriculture, set up a green and clean production model by gradually eliminating toxic pesticides, promoting professional service with combination of treatment and prevention. what’s more, ministry of agriculture also create the conditions for pesticide zero growth by making finance, insurance, taxation policies.

  In addition the Ministry of Agriculture recently issued the " 2015 planting work points" ( hereinafter referred to as " points" )  it is advocated in “points” that using precise pesticides, carry on high toxic pesticide fixed-point pilot and expanding the scope of the biological pesticide subsidies pilot.

 Another thing is that “ Pesticide management regulations revision” will speed up to set relative rules and draft “the regulation of crop diseases and pests control according to the “points”
